Thanks for taking the time to look over our environmental, health and safety certification and
training information.
Environmental Education Associates, Inc (EEA) has offered environmental training services since
1989 to a variety of clientele, ranging from professionals employed in the private and public
sectors to individuals who may wish to obtain training to secure positions in the expanding
environmental and safety industry.
Our specialties include asbestos, hazardous materials, lead, mold, weatherization and safety
awareness, certification and recertification training.
We are pleased to announce that we have a new training facility in New York City, at 1012 Gates
Ave. in Brooklyn. Our schedule includes a full list of upcoming classes at that location.
Also new, we now offer a number of courses in Spanish language. Click here for a list of Spanish
language classes and locations.
We are also presenting Lead Safe Work Practices classes statewide in each of our training facilities
every month which are open to the public under several state and federal grant programs. Contact
the office to see if free LSWP courses are available.
We have every intention of adding the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead Renovation and
Remodeling (LRR) lead training certification when that becomes available this year. We expect to
offer the one-day Lead Renovation and Remodeling course, and half-day upgrade course for those
who have already completed the one day Lead Safe Work Practices training in the past. Contact us
for more details.
Courses are also available on-site, and we would be happy to provide a quote for group presentations
or to consider scheduling classes at locations more desirable to our clientele, across the United
States and including all Canadian provinces.
We maintain training accreditation with multiple federal and state agencies. In addition to our
regularly scheduled programs, we can tailor classes to meet the demands of groups and can design
"site-specific" programs to address circumstances at a given location. Recent examples include
specially designed programs for airport sampling personnel, prison inmates and customs officials.
Our staff comprises the best and brightest in the field. Training coordinators Jennifer McLaughlin
and Lynn Burlingham are always available to assist you if you have questions, concerns, and specific
issues associated with program operations. Instructional staff and visiting instructors meet stringent
criteria for academic excellence and experience. Our clientele have come to expect course presentation
that goes beyond "state of the art." Staff is expected to give, and our students are expected to get,
the most out of each and every presentation, practical exercise or academic experience at EEA.
We are confident you will find that our services exceed your expectations. Please feel free to contact
me if you have any questions or need some additional information.
Regards,
Andrew J. McLellan
