Asbestos & Mold Updates
Greetings;
The NYSDOL has graciously provided us the two presentations on asbestos and mold. DOL staff recently provided these updates during the PACNY conference February 24-26, 2016.
The mold presentation provides a very thorough overview of the new mold legislation and detail on the actions the DOL has taken to implement the program. Review the presentation to gain better insight into the “sausage factory”.
The asbestos presentation is actually two, Edward Smith, PE, CIH from the Engineering Service Bureau, provides a welcome update on the long-awaited revisions to the 2007 Code Rule and Kirk Fisher, Licensing & Certification Unit, offers a succinct explanation of the bureaus understanding of emergencies.
