CEU’s for CEO’s

Greetings;

EEA is super pleased to announce that our Lead Renovator has been approved by the NYS Department of State for Code Enforcement Official (CEO) continuing education units (CEUs) on select dates. CEOs attending the RRP initial course will get 8 credit units. Check our online schedule for dates, and please contact us prior to course date if you wish to obtain the credits.

EEA is already approved by NYSDOS for CEO CEUs for our 3 hour “All About Asbestos” asbestos awareness program. We’ve been presenting that course to several CEO gatherings across the State for the last few years. Contact us if you like more information on a group presentation of that course.

Per our last message, we are working with AIA Rochester to present the asbestos designer recertification as a credit bearing presentation for the American Institute of Architects (AIA). We have two sessions Oct. 9 (Bflo) & Nov 6 (Roch) that we have designated for an AIA approved presentation. Engineers welcome too!

We continue to work on expanding and improving our training capabilities. We’ll be offering our NYSDOS approved Realtor & Appraiser credit bearing Introduction to Environmental Health Awareness presentation in early December for the first time in upstate New York. This has been very popular downstate/NYC and we are pleased to be partnering with Manfred Real Estate Learning Center to provide the training here in WNY. We are also working with Manfred on DOS Realtor/Appraiser approval for our NCHH Essentials for Healthy Homes Practitioner presentation.

Expect a postcard shortly reminding you to register for this Fall’s certification and recertification sessions. We are streamlining dates for training, and may be in contact with those who’ve attended asbestos inspector, management planner, monitor and designer or lead inspector, risk assessor or supervisor to suggest recertification dates that we are sure will run.
