EEA Is New York’s Environmental Training Resource

May & June are busy months in the environmental certification business, and especially for EEA this year…

We’re super happy to be selected to provide EPA Lead Renovator certification training to staff of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA).  The housing authority has come under fire in the last few months for failing to provide disclosure to tenants about lead based paint, and investigations by HUD, EPA and the State have identified some serious problems in North America’s largest public housing authority.

EEA has been working with NYCHA since December 2017 to provide RRP training to maintenance and skilled trades staff, who typically disturb surface coatings during repairs and renovations.  We’ve trained nearly 500 NYCHA staff and expect to see another 2000 or so in the near future.

We’ve teamed with The Safety Group to provide this and a full schedule of asbestos, lead, mold and hazardous materials certification training programs in Manhattan, at 76 Beaver St (11 Hanover Sq) in the Financial District.  Check our upcoming Manhattan dates at environmentaleducation.com.

You’re also welcome to check out our other upcoming training dates, in Buffalo and across the Empire State:

Asbestos Worker Certification,  May 29 – June 1, 2018 in Buffalo, NY
Lead Supervisor Refresher, May 30, 2018 in Rochester
Mold Refresher, May 31, 2018 on line
Lead Renovator Refresher, June 4 in Buffalo
Asbestos Supervisor Refresher, June 5, 2018 in Buffalo
Lead Renovator Initial, June 7 in Utica, NY
Mold Abatement Worker & Mold Remediation Supervisor Combo. June 11-15, 2018 in Buffalo, NY

And that’s just some of what’s offered in the next couple weeks.  If it’s environmental certification initial or refresher training in New York City or New York State, we’ve got you covered.
