Lead Abatement Supervisor

32 Hours — For those who will supervise on-site abatement activities, prepare occupant protection plans and complete abatement reports. Includes health effects, medical monitoring, personal protective equipment, State of the Art hazard control strategies, engineering controls, legal liability, insurance considerations, supervisory practices and waste disposal.

You may begin work immediately after receiving a your completion certificate from an initial training course. This certificate serves as interim certification for six months following completion of training.

You must complete the EPA application process, including the third-party exam (if required for your discipline) within six months after completing your course – in other words, before the expiration date of your interim certification.
