Lead Abatement Worker
16 Hours — For on-site personnel engaged in lead abatement activities in residential properties, including health department ordered projects, United States Housing and Urban Development grant programs, Public & Indian Housing abatement programs and military abatement projects.
You may begin work immediately after receiving a your completion certificate from an initial training course. This certificate serves as interim certification for six months following completion of training.
You must complete the EPA application process, including the third-party exam (if required for your discipline) within six months after completing your course – in other words, before the expiration date of your interim certification.
