DESCRIPTION:Understanding the dangers of lead and conducting risk assessments and hazard evaluations in  older housing and child occupied facilities is crucial for preparing and protecting lead abatement workers. \nThis 16-hour course provides the necessary certification\, covering compliance with HUD protocols\, best practices for risk assessment\, hazard screening\, re-assessment and other measures to adequately assess lead hazards. \nUpon completing this course and passing the third-party exam\, you’ll be an EPA certified lead risk assessor. EPA Lead Inspector training is a pre-requisite for this certification. \nDays 1 is completed online via live webinar.  Day 2 must be completed in person in Buffalo or Manhattan.
