Free Environmental Health Training

Here’s a quick rundown of upcoming trainings free to eligible attendees:

Lead Renovators Training in Albany, NY through Albany County Cornell Cooperative Extension. Get into what might be the last refreshers for a while on Sept 27th or 28th, or an initial on September 29th or 30th. These sessions are open to the public.

Lead Worker Initial in Brooklyn, NY under our Lead Connections program on Sept 29th-30th. This is the last certification session that we’ll be offering under the grant program. Attendees must be working in Brooklyn or Queens.

OSHA 30 hour in Buffalo though Erie Community College Corporate Training and the NYSDOL Hazard Abatement Board. The course will be offered on consecutive Fridays, beginning October 28th.

EEA also continues to provide a variety of asbestos, lead and safety training through partners across the State, including NYC HPD, NYS Homes & Community Renewal (HCR) and Mohawk Valley Community College. Check out our e-library “What’s Happening” page for information and dates for sponsored courses and other EEA events.

Also, don’t forget about the Jets-Bills tix raffle. The Jets look tough, definitely up to the hype, and the Bills are playing way beyond their expectations. It’s gonna be great!

Be Well!
