EEA offers several continuing education unit-bearing courses for building, construction & demolition professionals. EEA offers, and works with other industry professionals, including AIA Rochester, Manfred Real Estate Learning Center and the NYS Department of Health to provide property owners/managers, realtors, appraisers, home inspectors, code enforcement officials and environmental specialists with valuable technical education that satisfies continuing education expectations. EEA will also work with individuals to obtain approval for CEUs that aren’t already approved.

This includes certification and awareness level courses approved through the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, the NYS Department of State and several real estate and environmental health trade associations. Courses range from 2 – 24 hours in length/credit and are available on demand for groups or as regularly scheduled programs. EEA is also offering HazMat initial and refreshers for groups, on-site or at one of our statewide facilities. More and more projects are requiring that on-site staff have current 40 hour Hazwoper training, attend refreshers or specialized certification training for specific contaminants such as PCBs, metals and bio-hazards. OSHA requires that employers provide training specific to the hazards that employees may encounter at the job site. EEA can help design or tailor an existing training program to meet these needs.
