Lead Hazard Control Grants

The HUD Office of Healthy Homes & Lead Hazard Control (OHHLHC) is making $106 million available in two annual grant programs. The Lead Hazard Control grant provides funding for program and infrastructure development as well brick and mortars hazard control. The Reduction program is similar but places more focus on housing unit production.

In New York, applicants for these two programs must be local units of government (i.e. Cities, Counties). States must be EPA approved to be eligible.

EEA has extensive experience operating grant programs and serving as a consultant, contractor and laboratory. Our Lead Connections program has completed over one thousand units since 2003 across New York and serves as a national model for effective low cost hazard control.
