We’ve had many requests over the years for access to our Power Point presentations. Toward that end, we’ve put a few of the more popular topics in our website library, including:

Feel free to use them, as is, for your own knowledge or internal presentations. We’d appreciate that they don’t end up in any “commercial” presentations.

In other news, there’s been a lot of activity on the Federal level, with the announcement of OHHLHC grant awards. New York came up a little short, with awards limited to Erie County (Lead Hazard Control) and Columbia University (Healthy Homes). Better luck next round!

Congress is considering some interesting changes to healthy homes funding. The Senate has proposed merging several programs, including healthy homes, weatherization and green technology. Sounds promising, but we’ll see how far it goes. The National Center for Healthy Homes (NCHH) does a good job of tracking legislation.
