Summer is here, get busy!

The construction season is off & running across New York. We’ve seen a surge in demand for asbestos and lead training, and have added new dates to our training calendar. We’re also offering special discounts on our Rochester asbestos abatement initial and refresher courses. Now’s a great time to gear up for all of the renovation and demolition projects we’ve been reading and hearing about. Lead-heads will also want to take note of the recent request from EPA for comments on their proposed rule: “Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program for Public and Commercial Buildings”. Comments to EPA’s amendments to 40 CFR 745 are due by July 6, 2013 and can be posted online through the link under Lead in the Important Documents section of our webpage. The rule is projected to take effect in 2014-15.
