To avoid the risk of lead poisoning for yourself\, loved ones\, pets\, and others\, this course educates would-be renovators on how to perform lead-safe work practices safely. \nThis 8-hour course is required for contractors\, home improvement firms\, handymen\, and others involved in renovation work at pre-1978 housing and child occupied facilities. Training covers the dangers of lead paint\, and comprehensive safe renovation practices compliant with regulatory standards including the EPA Renovation\, Repair\, and Painting Rule\, as well as the HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule. \nUpon completing the course and passing the exam\, you’re considered a certified EPA Renovator. An EPA Lead Renovator certificate is emailed. \nThis even is held in 2 sessions.  Both sessions must be completed in order to receive certification.  By registering for session 1 on August 21st\, you are automatically enrolled in session 2 on August 28th.
