cancellation and make up time POLICy

EEA reserves the right to cancel programs due to low registration (5 attendees or less) in advance of course start date.  If a course is postponed, we will either apply payment to the next course or provide a refund.

For in person classes:

Refunds will be issued if the student cancels according to the following:

  • In excess of 10 working days prior to course start date: 100% refund
  • 5-10 business days prior to course start date: 50% refund
  • If less than 5 business days prior to course start date: NO REFUND

Transfers will be granted if the student notifies EEA as follows:

  • In excess of 10 working days prior to course start date: no transfer fee
  • 3-10 business days prior to course start date: $25 transfer fee for any half or single day refresher class, $50 transfer fee for any multi day initial class

If a student does not cancel their registration or begins class and is unable to complete, the student is ineligible for a refund and is responsible for full tuition.  If the student then wishes to register for a future session, the student is responsible for registration and payment for the future session.

EEA accepts payment in the form of cash, money order, company or personal check and all major credit cards. There will be a $50 fee on any returned checks.

Training Make-Up Time & Re-Test Policy

  • EEA can provide class make-up for attendees that miss no more than one day’s (6.5 contact hours) training for an additional fee of $60.00 per hour, payable prior to scheduled make-up time and issuance of certification.
  • EEA will offer attendees who do not pass their first course test a chance to re-test that same day, provided that the second test starts at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled class end time.
  • Attendees that cannot successfully complete testing on the last day of training can re-test on another day at no extra charge.  Make-up time fees will apply for instructor review and testing assistance prior to separate day re-tests.
  • Arrangements for make-up time and re-testing can be made by the instructor but must be confirmed by EEA training coordinator(s).
