Maintaining certification for asbestos-related roles requires periodic refresher courses.
Each asbestos course has a corresponding refresher course ranging from 4 to 8 hours, based on the field. Certification must be renewed annually under USEPA and NYSDOH requirements. Proof of eligibility is required to attend.
