Supervising asbestos abatement projects to ensure safety and compliance is the responsibility of an Asbestos Abatement Supervisor.
This 40-hour course covers identifying asbestos, health effects, PPE, air monitoring and state-of-the-art abatement practices. It prepares supervisors to oversee asbestos removal, encapsulation and repair activities.
Upon passing the exam, participants become EPA-certified Asbestos Abatement Supervisors. Certification requires periodic refresher courses.
