Mold Resources
The New York State Department of Labor Division of Safety & Health approved EEA on September 28, 2015 to present mold assessment, remediation and abatement certification training programs to those who are conducting, or intend to conduct, mold assessment and remediation activities in New York State.
There are a total of three New York State mold certifications, including the Mold Abatement Worker, the Mold Remediation Contractor, and the Mold Assessor. Each requires a refresher every two (2) years. The 4-hour refresher class is dseigned for Mold Abatement Workers, Mold Abatement Supervisors, Mold Remediation Contractors and Mold Assessors to attend together and can be presented online.
