The course is suitable for workers who may come into contact with asbestos but who do not disturb it, such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters and general laborers.
The course does not qualify workers to perform asbestos abatement or removal activities, which require additional training and certification. Upon completion of the course, the participants will receive a certificate of attendance. The course must be repeated annually to maintain compliance with OSHA.
